I'm Linda Calcote, I grew up in East Texas but I have been living here in Columbus for 46 years. I met my wonderful husband while we attended high school together. Shortly after high school my husband enlisted in the Army. This brought us all over the world. My daughter was born right here at Martin Army Hospital at Fort Benning before we were stationed in France. There, my two sons were born. When my husband got orders to Vietnam, I returned to Texas with my three children. After that very serious and dangerous time, we were ordered to Fort Devens, Massachusetts where my career in Real Estate began. It was a very interesting 2 1/2 years working there with some cold winters and a lot of homes from the 19th century to show and sell. Our time in Massachusetts came to an end and we made our way back to Fort Benning. I loved the real estate field so much I started selling and listing in Georgia and Alabama.

We are now happily settled in Harris County and love the country life. My husband has now retired but I am so involved with Real Estate that I do not plan to retire anytime soon. I find the challenge of satisfying my clients needs exciting. I find the search very exciting and I love communicating with folks like you.
