My name is Michael Metry. I grew up in Zanesville, Ohio, and later attended school in Tiffin, OH,

where I earned my MBA from Heidelberg University. After spending more than a decade away from my

family to pursue my educational and career goals, I decided to move to Columbus, Georgia, to be closer

to those I hold dear.

Most recently, I relocated from Philadelphia and have enjoyed exploring this new area,

especially going on long walks with my dog. I also hope to find more opportunities to play basketball

here, as it's something I enjoy.

My story may sound familiar to many who have also planted their roots here from another

location, as that is a big part of what makes up Columbus and led to me meeting many people in similar

situations. Through my experiences in Columbus and my travels, I've learned that some values transcend

all cultures. Respect, grace, and kindness to others without expecting anything in return are the pillars
