"GRITS - Girls Raised in the South", that’s me! I was born and raised in Columbus, Georgia and have always called this area “home”.

Hardaway High School is my alma mater. I married my high school sweetheart, Don Kreuzkamp and we've been married for 37 plus years, "bless his heart". We have two beautiful children, Brittany and Branten. Both are married and I'm the proud grandmother of four grandbabies ranging in age from two to eight. I would be remiss if I didn't mention my four legged fur baby, Hogie.

Aflac is celebrating 60 years in 2015 and I'm proud to say I was with them for over 37 years (retired June 2014). I was there when they adopted the acronym Aflac, when they introduced the beloved duck and when they were recognized by Fortune magazine as being on its list of 100 Best Companies to Work For and many other accolades. The latter 27 years of my Aflac service was spent in leadership positions where I gained valuable knowledge and experience that I will apply throughout my life. The work at Aflac was challenging and rewarding and is where I built many lasting relationships across the company and in the field.

Having a career and managing a family kept me busy but I decided to move forward with my education. I attended Columbus State University and graduated with a Bachelorette of Science in General Studies.

As a member of Cascade Hills Church since 1993, I have watched the congregation continually grow. Through all of these years, I have made and maintained many wonderful relationships with members of the Cascade Hills family.

What I enjoy most about summers in the South are trips to the beach, bay fishing, summer tans, colorful sandals and grandbabies by the pool! When I'm not doing any of the previously mentioned activities, you'll find me volunteering at church or the Valley Rescue Mission and giving back to the community.
