Buyer's Agent
About Coldwell Banker Kennon & Parker
For over 50 years, Coldwell Banker Kennon & Parker has been the leading real estate brokerage in the Chattahoochee Valley. With four offices across Georgia and Alabama, more than 180 agents, and over $1 billion in annual sales volume, CBKP gives our agents the training, technology, and brand power to grow a real career — not just chase a paycheck.
The Role
Our Buyer's Agents represent buyers from the first showing to the closing table. With our marketing engine generating real buyer-side lead flow, you can focus on what you do best — touring homes, advising clients, and writing winning offers.
What You'll Do
- Convert inbound leads from our website, open houses, and referral network into buyer consultations.
- Conduct buyer consultations, set expectations on financing and the local market, and run the property search.
- Show homes, narrow the list, and coach buyers through tradeoffs and timelines.
- Write competitive offers, negotiate counters, and shepherd the contract through inspections, appraisal, and close.
- Stay in touch post-close — referrals and repeats are the foundation of a long career.
What We're Looking For
- Active Georgia or Alabama real estate license (or willing to obtain).
- Patience — buyers take longer than sellers, and the right fit matters more than the fast close.
- Quick on a phone or text — speed-to-lead matters and we measure it.
- Working knowledge of FHA, VA, USDA, and conventional financing (or willing to learn).
- Local-market curiosity. Schools, commutes, and neighborhood character are part of the job.
Why Agents Choose KPDD
- Best-in-class training — onboarding for new licensees, ongoing development for veterans, and one-on-one coaching from production leaders.
- Marketing that actually moves listings — professional photography, drone & 3D tours, social, print, and a website that drives real lead flow.
- The Coldwell Banker brand — instant credibility with sellers and buyers, plus the global referral network behind every conversation.
- In-house support — transaction coordination, IT, marketing, and broker oversight so you spend your time with clients, not paperwork.
- Four offices, two states — Columbus, Auburn, LaGrange, and Whitesville. Hang your license where your clients are.
