Hannah Vongsavang
About
Hannah is a native to the Valley area, having spent most of her childhood on a recreational farm in Harris County where she learned to love and respect nature. She is a graduate of Brookstone School, class of '98; and, though she took a few breaks to travel during traditional university years, she completed her BA in Communication with Lambda Pi Eta Designation at Columbus State University in 2013. One of those "breaks" involved meeting and marrying her future husband PJ Vongsavang, to whom she's been married 20 years and with whom she shares two children. Not quite an empty-nester, the kids are nearly grown with one away at university in NY and the other is in High School in Columbus. PJ and Hannah round out their family with three dogs, three cats, a turtle, some fish, and more instruments than a house full of musicians should probably own.
Hannah got into real estate after watching her husband work the business for years. PJ initiated his career in real estate *the week* the market crashed in 2007. It was rough going for a new agent in those recession years, but the experience gained was exponential. Having supported her husband through the worst market most agents have ever seen, Hannah felt like becoming a Realtor(R) was the right career choice for her to help grow her community, protect homeowners, and help buyers build equity in a rapidly changing global economy. She joined his team in 2012, and though he has moved on to more creative endeavors in music and film; Hannah continues to support her friends, clients, and future buyers and sellers in our fast-paced and ever changing-market.
Hannah is currently the Secretary at Boys and Girls Clubs of the Chattahoochee Valley, an organization that she's been involved with over a decade, and as a 3rd generation board member. She says her passion for the organization is because "I believe our local Boys & Girls Clubs are instrumental in giving the youths of our community the best possible success. Along with Melissa Thomas, I've helped the Women's Giving Circle at the Clubs to provide funds and direction for the arts for our vulnerable youth." If you're looking to get involved in any local organization, Hannah is happy to welcome you to the table or help you find the right organization for your interests.
Having been a Realtor ® for so many years, Hannah has been actively involved in our local Board of Realtors(R) chairing the Equal Opportunity and Cultural Diversity Committee (2013), Realtor's Extending A Caring Hand chair (2016, 2020), and acting as Local Director (2021-2022).
Hannah's real estate philosophy is to put customers first. Whether buying or selling, the process often involves stressful moments that require understanding and clear communication from your agent. She's willing to put the work in to resolve any issues that may come up. Hannah will help guide you through the process and is there to continue to answer questions even years after your transaction. Hannah's looking forward to working with you!
