About
I am licensed in GA and AL and I love what I do. I am energetic, competitive and reliable. The secret to my success is that I always answer my phone, and offer the best service possible to my clients! My business is based on referrals, and depends on my clients recommending my service to people they know. I value greatly the trust my clients show when connecting me with friends and family. Raised in Memphis, Tennessee, I am the middle child in a family of five children. My mom was a pre-school teacher and my dad was an analytical chemist. We lived near the University of Memphis and I have many memories of that campus. I began playing the flute in middle school and was very competitive. At a young age I joined the Memphis Youth Symphony. I was so passionate about music that I went to North Carolina School of the Arts and studied as a performance major, graduating in 1984. I immediately auditioned and got a position with the Charleston Symphony. While there I had the great fortune of becoming the care taker of a beautiful mansion built in 1862 near the Battery. The mansion is nick named "O'Donnell's Folly". The story goes, that Mr. O'Donnell, a merchant sea captain fell in love and built this home for his bride to be. Many of the ornate details mirror a beautiful wedding cake. Anyway, it took so long for the home to be built that the bride ran off with another man! I think that my love story has a much better ending! I have some really great memories of that home; in fact, I met my husband, Wayne there! Wayne is an organist. You could say that we make lovely music together, and you'd be right! We were married in Charleston at the Presbyterian Church, but our reception was in "O'Donnell's Folly". I recently saw on-line that the house at 21 King Street is listed now for over $7,000,000. Not long after we married we found out that I had the gift for teaching children to sing. I have served with Wayne at churches for our entire married life and we have taught hundreds of children in choir! We have two wonderful, alas, almost completely grown children of our own. Wayne's career has transitioned us to several areas in Florida and Georgia, and I have had a keen interest in Real Estate ever since I lived in Charleston. We were called to Columbus by St Paul United Methodist Church in 2004. It was at this time that I met my broker Dan Parker. I became an agent and began working with Coldwell Banker KPDK in 2005. With encouragement and great educational opportunities, Coldwell Banker KPDK, has given me the skill set for a successful career in Real Estate. I was awarded the Columbus Board of Realtors Rookie of the Year Award in 2006.I am licensed in GA and AL and I love what I do.
